The Close Capture File command is sent to the analyzer to close the capture file. It will accept an optional path to save any changes to a file that is open, but that file cannot be overwritten. If the capture file path parameter is omitted, any changes to the open file will be discarded. The command format is:
“Close Capture File;<capture file path>”
Example – “Close Capture File;C:\My Capture Files\NewCapture.cfa”
Response: “CLOSE CAPTURE FILE ;<status>[;Reason=<reason>]” where a reason will only be supplied for FAILED status.
