There are two example scripts that use the API described in this document. There is a Python example that demonstrates using the automation server to capture Bluetooth data, analyze it and save the capture file (sample_wps_client.py). Also, there is a Tcl script that demonstrates the basics for writing Tcl that interface to the FTSAutoServer application (SampleClient.tcl). Both scripts assume the automation server will be run on Windows, and would need to be modified as described above to start the automation server on macOS or Linux.
These scripts are located in the directory “Help and Tools\Automation Server” under the WPS base installation which on Windows can normally be found at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Teledyne LeCroy Wireless\Wireless Protocol Suite <version number>
On macOS the path would be:
