When you use the analyzer with a host machine and Hosts and Devices under test, it is desirable to prevent ground loops by plugging all devices into an outlet with a common ground. If additional external lab equipment is issued for Triggering In/Out for debugging purposes, it should also share the same electrical ground. In the absence of a common ground, the user should be aware that ground loops can cause malfunction in triggering signals.
