If one connector shows a Yellow LED:
The orientation is indeterminate. This may occur when the VCONN thru cable (926762-00 or 930705-00) is used, as the analyzer will detect both Rp/Rp or Rd/Rd on the two CC pins.
If both connectors show a Yellow LED, one of the following 3 situations applies:
Cables presenting Ra are attached to both connectors.
-
If both cables contain eMarkers, this is not a valid configuration.
-
If one cable is an unmarked Ra cable, this is a valid scenario. Source VCONN to the side that does contain the eMarker in Recording Options > USB Type-C > Analyzer VCONN Behavior.
A cable presenting Ra is attached to one connector, and the orientation on the other connector is indeterminate (such as with a VCONN thru cable). You may allow VCONN to be connected through the analyzer in Recording Options > USB Type-C > Analyzer VCONN Behavior.
The orientation on both connectors is indeterminate. This may occur when two pass-through cables are used, which is not a valid configuration.
