Overview
The Voyager M4120, M480x, M4x, M310C, M310P, M310e, and the Mercury T2C and T2P share a set of Channel Configuration (CC) Simple Triggers in USB Type-C Mode.
CC State Detection
When enabled, the Analyzer captures Configuration Channel (CC) State transitions by monitoring the voltages seen on the CC pins. (This is the Default setting.) In this mode, the Analyzer connects CC1 from Connector 1 to Connector 2 whenever the states of the CC pins are appropriate for PD communication. If this item is unchecked, then the CC states are NOT monitored, and the CC1 line is connected across the connectors at all times. This may be helpful during debugging when the CC voltage is not found to be within the correct thresholds.
NOTE: This mode (when CC Detection is disabled) is to be used for low-level debugging only, as the behavior of many state transitions can be broken. The LED reporting will not work as expected, and the ability to distinguish between the Left and Right port traffic is eliminated. Choose this at your own risk, normally under the guidance of Teledyne LeCroy representative.

Analyzer VCONN Behavior
Certain devices with a captured Type-C plug require VCONN on CC2 to drive their electronics. An example would be an HDMI Adapter or a device that is fully powered by VCONN (known as a VCONN Powered Device, or VPD). This selection box allows you to configure how you would like the VCONN power to be treated, depending on the analyzer product being used.
-
Disabled: VCONN is not connected through nor is any voltage applied to either connector.
-
Analyzer Sourced—Auto: If valid CC termination is recognized on both connectors and an eMarked cable is connected on the Sink side, the analyzer will source VCONN to that cable.
-
Analyzer Sourced—Manual (Left Connector): If valid CC termination is recognized on both connectors and an eMarked cable is connected on the Left side, the analyzer will source VCONN to that cable.
-
Analyzer Sourced—Manual (Right Connector): If valid CC termination is recognized on both connectors and an eMarked cable is connected on the Right side, the analyzer will source VCONN to that cable.
-
Connected Through: Connects the VCONN signal directly between the two connectors.
